In a world that increasingly seems to be without mooring, we have a sure and steady anchor in Jesus and in the truths of His Word.  Yet, God's Word is under attack on many fronts. Is the Word relevant for today? Are the truths contained in it timeless? And if so, can we trust it to guide our lives even when we don't agree with what it says? Or is the Bible antiquated, outdated and needs to "evolve" into modern times? These are issues facing the church today and my prayer is that we will know that this Anchor is a sure and firm foundation in times of doubt. His Word is true. It is trustworthy. And He is good. Let us seek Him in the study of His Word and may we proclaim with the Psalmist, "The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart."
